This was disclosed by the manager of Aborigines Promotions at the signing session in his residence held on Saturday 8th June 2019 at Tesano.
The 5 years deal which takes effect from now is an all-round deal where the record label manages all the music career activities of the See Them Empire ranging from recording, distribution and marketing.
As to how this deal came about since JJ Gonami is not popularly known in the music circle, the CEO of Aborigines Promotions who is also the owner of Aborigines Beach Resort located in Keta, Volta Region stated “ I met JJ Gonami about 4 years ago through a mutual friend of ours when he came to perform. I watched his performances and listened to his music from the crowd and I could see the prospects.”
Regarding the 2million Ghana cedis rumors cost of the deal, the CEO of Aborigines in the person of Uncle Mitch disclosed that the two parties have agreed that whatever that was signed behind close doors, remains there, and whatever rumors the public heard are did not come from them.
JJ Gonami in his acceptance speech reiterated his gratitude to Mr. Mitch Woollams CEO of Aborigines Promotions and Aborigines Beach Resort for the trust impose in him. He was grateful for the investment and promised to do his very best and will never let the label down because his career and life depends on it as well.

JJ Gonami (real name Jacob Gonami Agbenuvor is a Ghanaian Afro beats recording artist,entertainer and a song writer who comes from Tegbi Agbedrafor– Keta in the Volta Region of Ghana. His name Gonami is derived from the Ewe Language of Ghana which simply means “Give way”, given to him by his Grand Mother “Emmanuela Kporvi.
